When I referenced the article title and year of publication, the individual I spoke to deferred to author Marcus K. Dalton as the copyright owner of the series. I was further informed that “about seven years ago” Mr. Dalton parted with the Tribune“not on good terms.” The employee said that the paper regrets its association with Dalton, that the former reporter was not deserving of the “mister” salutation I used, and that he may be found in California. Las Vegas Tribune Editor’s Note: Las Vegas residents are increasingly noticing the appearance of chemical trails overhead. They appear EVERY weekend without fail, the only exception being the two weeks after September 11, 2001. Such “chemtrails” are substantially different in appearance to the normal condensation trails left by jet airliners. The difference is that while condensation trails are composed of water vapor that dissipates rapidly, “chemtrails” linger much longer and spread out over time to eventually cover the sky with a thin haze. This week the Las Vegas Tribune begins a two-part article to examine the undeniable and mysterious phenomena of Chemtrails Over Las Vegas.

Last year a concerned reader wrote to the Idaho Observer: “Driving across Idaho and Nevada we saw normal condensation trails in the skies above north Idaho and we were habitually looking up as we drove toward Las Vegas. We had noticed that the sparsely populated areas in Nevada had brilliantly clear blue skies and that the occasional airplane left vapor trails that dissipated normally. But as soon as we neared Las Vegas, in the skies directly above the city, we watched what appeared to be a military C-135 Transports spraying something over the populated areas. When the planes were no longer directly over Las Vegas, they continued flying leaving a vapor trail that dissipated normally.”

It has been reported that the “chemtrails” contain ethylene dibromide — a substance that has been an additive to gasoline and airplane fuels as well as a banned pesticide. Ethylene dibromide has been linked to kidney and liver damage and is an immunosuppressive and a lung irritant.

William Thomas, who has researched chemtrails since their appearance in the latter 90s, has noted stunted plant growth in once-healthy gardens and wilderness areas in Santa Fe and Aspen. Similar plant problems are commonly associated with chemtrails in other regions of the U.S.

A brief history of the chemtrail phenomenon can be traced to a Washington state man who told award-winning investigative reporter William Thomas that he’d become ill on New Year’s Day 1999 after watching several jets make strange lines in the sky. Within six months, Thomas, writing primarily for the Environmental News Service, has detailed 1000s of eyewitness reports of chemtrails from 40 states.

“Mainstream newspapers have gone out of their way to dismiss these eyewitness accounts,” Thomas told the New Mexican newspaper in June 1999, “It’s easier to sell UFOs to major media than a phenomena as close in many cities as the nearest window.”

Especially disturbing for residents of heavily chemtrailed communities like Las Vegas is a “chemtrail sickness” associated with heavy spray days leaving many stricken people complaining of the “flu” and acute allergic reactions months after the flu season has ended. Upper and lower respiratory and gastrointestinal ailments remain unusually high in many spray areas, along with debilitating fatigue – and something even more worrying.

What’s going on?

Thomas is convinced that we are under “deliberate biological attack” by agents known only to top military and government officials responsible for permitting continuing over-flights by unmarked spray aircraft.

Government officials deny that anything unusual is taking place, yet increasing numbers of concerned observers are seeing 727-like aircraft painted “all-white with a black stripe up the middle of fuselage” laying long and often cries-crossing chemtrail patterns over Southern Nevada and elsewhere. None of the planes carry identifying markings.

Pat Edgar has been watching the jets spraying over eastern Oklahoma since a sunny day in October, 1997 when as many as 30 contrails gradually occluded the sky. “They look like they’re playing tic-tac-toe up there,” he says. “You know darn well it’s not passenger planes.” Edgar says he has watched “cob-webbing stuff coming down” from the zigzagging jets flying “all day long, line after line, back-and-forth, like furrows in a farm field.” Edgar adds “There is a lot of Lupus in the area now. A lot of women have come down with it.”

One source, who spoke to the Tribune under condition of anonymity, working as a civilian archeologist on government land throughout Nevada, began to notice “all white unmarked aircraft” preparing for take-off at Nellis AFB and at the Mancamp Complex near Tonapah in the late-90s. “It was these unmarked planes that were constantly laying down the criss-crossing X patterns of lingering chemical-spray trails over Southern Nevada.” When the archeologist asked the military escort who accompanied the civilian research team into ‘sensitive’ areas around Nellis, about the planes, the reply received was, “You didn’t see anything.”

Another Las Vegas resident, Sandy Range, grew up within an outdoors field and stream-type family and has been watching the weather and the skies all her life. Holding a degree from Syracuse University, Range moved to Las Vegas in 1989. “I first began to notice the chemtrails in late ’96 – 14 criss-crossed miles-long vapor trails that didn’t evaporate like the norm. I began to see them weekly, then daily,” Range states matter-of-factly.

One early morning in ’99 Range was returing from Henderson when a low-flying craft dropped a trail right overhead along Boulder Highway. “It covered my car with a sticky web-like coating and I saved a specimen in a jar. Microscopic fiber-like filaments,” Range reports.

Government denials, as usual.

Congressman Dennis Kucinich of Ohio authored the Space Preservation Act of 2001, which sought a “permanent ban against weapons in space,” specifically banning “chemtrails” as weapons. But in a subsequent version of the bill, the “chemtrails” language disappeared entirely. The missing words suggest an eyes-wide-open denial, which says as much about the cover-up as it does about the spraying that’s plainly visible in the sky.

In a front-page story entitled “Conspiracy theorists look up,” the Akron Beacon Journal noted that Kucinich’s bill “had been rewritten and the references to chemtrails and the other types of weapons were quietly eliminated.” The Beacon Journal article, linking chemtrails to conspiracies, resulted from massive local pressure. Michel Massullo of Akron provided that newspaper with rolls of photos of plane trails and a sworn affidavit attesting to extensive aerial activity over that city.

The U.S. Air Force Website refutes the “Chemtrail Hoax” as having been around since 1996, “accusing the Air Force of being involved in spraying the U.S. population” with mysterious substances:

Several authors cite an Air University research paper titled “Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025” that suggests the Air Force is conducting weather modification experiments. The purpose of that paper was part of a thesis to outline a strategy for the use of a future weather modification system to achieve military objectives and it does not reflect current military policy, practice, or capability. The Air Force is not conducting any weather modification experiments or programs and has no plans to do so in the future. The “chemtrail” hoax has been investigated and refuted by many established and accredited universities, scientific organizations, and major media publications.

Explaining the government’s position, Lieutenant Colonel Michael K. Gibson of the U.S. Air Force wrote U.S. Representative Mark Green in August 2000 and stated, “The term ‘chemtrail’ is a hoax that began circulating approximately three years ago which asserts the government is involved in a joint federal program of covert spraying of the public.”

But many intelligent researchers call Gibson’s communique a classic non-denial denial: Gibson is denying that the Air Force is secretly spraying U.S. citizens. The reality is the U.S. Space Command and other government agencies are involved in ongoing experiments for military and environmental purposes that involve aerial spraying, and the microfibers and other sprayed chemicals inevitably fall to earth, putting the public at risk.

Before you believe Gibson’s and the government’s “denial,” do an Internet search for the following terms: “Joint Vision for 2020” and “Weather is a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025”, a whitepaper by MIT’s Bernard Eastlund and H-bomb father Edward Teller. Before he died in 2003, Teller was director emeritus of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where plans for nuclear, biological and directed energy weapons are crafted. In 1997, Teller publicly outlined his proposal to use aircraft to scatter through the stratosphere millions of tons of electrically-conductive metallic materials, ostensibly to reduce global warming.

Two scientists working at Wright Patterson Air Force Base confirmed to the Ohio newspaper, Columbus Alive, that they were involved in aerial spraying experiments. One involved aluminum oxide spraying related to global warming and the other involved barium stearate and had to do with high-tech military communications.

And even in the face of government denials, environmental laboratories have begun to identify an extremely toxic component of the spray drifting over cities and countryside. Several independent sources claim that samples of fallout from the lingering smoke trails and have been independently tested and found to contain ethylene dibromide (EDB).

In 1998, a US Air Force public affairs officer told residents of Las Vegas that their sudden upsurge of respiratory ailments could have come from “routine” fuel-dumping by military aircraft reducing weight for landing.

An extremely hazardous pesticide, EDB was banned by the US Environmental Protection Agency in 1983. But in 1991, the composition of jet fuel used by commercial and military jet aircraft in the U.S. was changed from JP4 to somewhat less flammable JP8. A Department of Defense source says the move “has saved some lives” in air crashes. Ethylene dibromide is a key component of JP8.

The 1991 Chemical Hazards of the Workplace warns that repeated exposure to low levels of ethylene dibromide results in “general weakness, vomiting, diarrhea, chest pains, coughing and shortness of breath, upper respiratory tract irritation” and respiratory failure caused by swelling of the lymph glands in the lungs. “Deterioration of the heart, liver and kidneys, and hemorrhages in the respiratory tract,” can also result from prolonged contact with JP8.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s hazardous materials list: “Ethylene dibromide is a carcinogen and must be handled with extreme caution.” A seven-page summary of this pesticide’s extreme toxicity notes that EDB may also damage the reproductive system. According to the EPA, “Exposure can irritate the lungs, repeated exposure may cause bronchitis, development of cough, and shortness of breath. It will damage the liver and kidneys”.

Mark Witten, a respiratory physiologist at the University of Arizona in Tucson where an official US Air Force study on JP8 was carried out, told Scientist in March, 1998 that crew chiefs “seem to have more colds, more bronchitis, more chronic coughs than the people not exposed to jet fuel.”

EDB is 6.5-times heavier than air. Unlike normal condensation trails, the thick white streamers being sprayed from downward-pointing tail-booms over at least 39 states does not dissipate, but spreads into an overcast that refracts a purple color in sunlight and appears suddenly as an oily film in puddles and ponds.

Hundreds of photographs and videotapes made by ground observers show pairs or larger formations of aircraft spreading a white mist that thickens and drifts toward the ground. Thousands of eye-witnesses – including police officers, pilots, military and public health personnel – have provided detailed accounts of aerial spraying in characteristic “X”s and east-to-west grid patterns, followed by occluded skies – and acute auto-immune reactions and respiratory infections throughout affected regions.

Severe headaches, nosebleeds, shortness of breath, joint pain and a dry hacking cough “that never leaves” are being reported by countless Americans jamming hospital Emergency Rooms from coast to coast. While December and January are traditionally bad months for asthma sufferers, patients, doctors and nurses across the U.S. report hospital wards filled to overflowing with bronchitis, pneumonia and acute asthma admissions at up to twice-normal winter rates.

“We’re getting sprayed real heavily with the chemtrails,” a Las Vegas resident told the Tribune. ” On some days it’s just total saturation.”

As over-filled Pennsylvania hospitals were forced to divert respiratory emergencies to other facilities with bed space, a south-central Pennsylvania resident, Deborah Kammerer, looked out her window and watched aircraft “flying and dispersing over the city. It was supposed to be a clear sunny day. It became more overcast as the day progressed. I observed how the white trails widened out and settled down creating a haze over everything.”

Where is the mainstream media’s reporting of this mass phenomenon? Indications of a concerted cover-up came in February 2003, when a retired Southern Baptist preacher named Everett Burton finally succeeded in reaching C-span. After voicing his opinion on the Clinton impeachment trial, this former minister told Americans to get a copy of the Constitution and read it to realize what they have lost. Rev. Burton then advised viewers not to take his word for what was happening in the US, “just look up in the skies as the planes regularly spray contrails across the skies, spraying people and making them ill.” At that point, Rev. Burton was cut off. The screen flipped from C-span to the Tennessee state seal, remained silent for several minutes.

Tommy Farmer, a former engineering technician with Raytheon Missile Systems, has been tracking patterns of jet chemtrails phenomena for more than a year. Farmer has “positively identified” two of the aircraft most often involved in the aerial spraying incidents as a Boeing KC-135 and Boeing KC-10. Both big jets are used by the U.S. Air Force for air-to-air refueling.

Confirming reports from eyewitnesses across the United States, Farmer reports that most chemtrail producing aircraft are painted either solid white or solid black with no other identifying markings visible.

Farmer has collected samples of what he calls “angel hair” sprayed by the mystery aircraft. Farmer says that globular filaments resembling ordinary spider webs, “usually fall in clumps or wads ranging from pencil eraser size to the size of a balled up fist.”

Winds often whip the cobweb-like material into filaments as long as 50 feet and that the sticky substance “melts in your hands” and “adheres to whatever it touches.”

After repeatedly observing aircraft spraying “in front of and into cloud systems,” Farmer is “fairly certain the chemtrail phenomena is one part of a military weather modification and weapons system.”

“The huge Xs being traced by formations of tanker jets in the sky can be tracked by satellite and coordinated with electro-magnetic beams to heat the upper atmosphere – changing its temperature and density and enhancing weather effects, theorizes Farmer referring to the government’s ‘HAARP’ project.

Enviromental journalist, William Thomas, is convinced that chemtrails are a “deliberate biological attack” by agents known only to top military and government officials responsible for permitting continuing over-flights by unmarked spray aircraft.

High Altitude Auroral Research Project Based in Gakon, Alaska, the unclassified joint U.S. Air Force and Navy project known as the High Altitude Auroral Research Project (HAARP) has for the past several years been using phased array antennas to steer powerful beams of tightly-focused radio waves to stimulate, heat and steer sections of the upper atmosphere.

Awarded in 1985 to MIT physicist Bernard Eastlund, HAARP’s commercial patent claims that directed energy beams of more than one-billion watts can be used for “altering the upper atmosphere wind patterns using plumes of atmospheric particles as a lens or focusing device” to disturb weather thousands of miles away.

Speaking to William Thomas and Environment News Service, a Lycos subsidiary, Eastlund admitted, “I had looked at using this intense beam, which can be angled, to do some experiments in terms of guiding the jetstream, moving it from one spot to another. I presume it is possible, which might lend credence to these other things.”

In the U.S. Air Force research study, “Weather as a Force Multiplier” issued in August, 1996, seven U.S. military officers outlined how HAARP and aerial cloud-seeding from tankers could allow U.S. aerospace forces to “own the weather” by the year 2025. Among the desired objectives were “Storm Enhancement,” “Storm Modification” and “Drought Inducement.”

“In the United States, weather-modification will likely become a part of national security policy with both domestic and international applications,” the report goes on to say.

Within 30 years, the Air Force foresees using Weather Force Support Elements with “the necessary sensor and communication capabilities to observe, detect, and act on weather-modification requirements to support U.S. military objectives” by using airborne cloud generation and seeding techniques, the 1996 Air Force report says.

But on its HAARP website, the U.S. Navy says, “The HAARP facility will not affect the weather. Transmitted energy in the frequency ranges that will be used by HAARP is subject to negligible absorption in either the troposphere or the stratosphere – the two levels of the atmosphere that produce the earth’s weather. Electromagnetic interactions only occur in the near-vacuum of the rarefied region above about 70 km known as the ionosphere.”

Still, according to the Air Force’s 1996 report, other routine weather-modification missions will deploy “cirrus shields” formed by the chemtrails of high-flying aircraft “to deny enemy visual and infrared surveillance.”

Once fully developed the HAARP facility will consist of 180 antennas on a total land area of about 33 acres will produce approximately 3.6 million watts of radio frequency power, the HAARP website states. The Air Force says HAARP transmitters have been designed to operate “very linearly so that they will not produce radio interference to other users of the radio spectrum.”

Farmer guesses that besides its obvious tactical military applications, aerial-seeding of contrail-clouds aligned in HAARP’s characteristic grid-patterns could be part of a secret U.S. government initiative to address the global weather crisis brought about by atmospheric warming.

Dr. Len Horowitz, “Conspiracy Theorist”

You’re sick. Your nose is stuffy, your body aches, you’re sweaty, and you don’t have enough energy to get out of bed. It’s not the flu – it’s a conspiracy. At least, that’s what Dr. Len Horowitz says.

Over the past 10 years, Horowitz has become America’s most controversial medical authority. A university-trained medical researcher, Horowitz, 48, charges that elements of the United States government are conspiring with major pharmaceutical companies to make large segments of the population sick. More than that, he charges that these same conspirators created the AIDS epidemic to kill Blacks, Hispanics and gays. And if that’s not enough, Horowitz argues that Adolph Hitler created the New World Order to fulfill his twisted dream of world domination.

Horowitz has made these claims in a series of books, videos, public appearances and radio talk shows. Today, Horowitz is best known as one of the most vocal opponents of government-mandated vaccines. He believes that vaccine manufacturers have purposely contaminated their products with a wide range of exotic viruses, including funguses developed by the United States military. He believes contaminated vaccines were intentionally used to create the AIDS epidemic.

Despite his ‘wild’ claims, Horowitz has a serious academic background. After he received a doctorate in dentistry from Tufts University, he was awarded a fellowship to do behavioral research at the University of Rochester. Horowitz later earned a Master of Public Health degree in behavioral science from Harvard University and a Masters degree in health education from Beacon College. He has also served on the faculties of Tufts University, Harvard University, and Leslie College’s Institute for the Arts and Human Development. His published research reports have appeared in a diverse array of scientific, professional, and lay periodicals ranging from”American Health and Wellness Management magazines to the Journal of Patient Education and Counseling, the Journal of AIDS Patient Care and the British Dental Journal.

Horowitz has traveled the country for years, speaking at both his own seminars and at survivalist-oriented Preparedness Expos, where he has appeared before large, enthusiastic crowds. A dynamic public speaker, Horowitz has presented his conspiracy theories to hundreds of thousands of people over the past decade, personally selling his books and tapes before and after his presentations. He has also appeared on numerous talk radio shows, including the nationally broadcast, locally produced “Art Bell Show”.

Speaking to Jim Redden of The Konformist last year, Horowitz pulled no punches on the subject of chemtrails: “I believe the chemtrails are responsible for a chemical intoxication of the public, which would then cause a general immune suppression, low grade to high grade, depending on exposure. An immune dysfunction, which would then allow people to become susceptible to opportunistic infections.”

Asked if he believes that high-flying planes are, in fact, spraying something on the population, Horowitz responds: “There’s no question that it’s real. I first began to investigate chemtrails when some were sprayed over my home in Northern Idaho. I took pictures of them, and then contacted the Environmental Protection Agency of the state. When I contacted their directors, they were clueless and referred me to the Air Force. They then got me in touch with Centers for Disease Control Toxicology, and after about a week I received a letter from one of their chief toxicologists saying, indeed there was some amount of ethylene dibromide in the jet fuel.”

Ethylene dibromide is a known human chemical carcinogen that was removed from unleaded gasoline because of its cancer-causing effects. Now suddenly it has appeared in the jet fuel that apparently high-altitude military aircraft are emitting.

But why would a known carcinogen be added to jet fuel after being removed from automotive fuel?

According to the Horowitz conspiracy theory, when you examine who owns the fuel, who are the fuel company directors, you enter into the realm of the Rockefeller family and the royal families – Standard Oil and British Petroleum. And what are their other agendas?

“Suddenly now you see their documents, showing that they have historically funded eugenics, racial hygiene, genocide, depopulation, family planning, maternal and child health – where they make and deliver vaccines – and contaminated blood supplies. These are the ‘banksters’, the same people who run the blood banking as well as the money banking industries,” says Horowitz.

The Rockefellers monopolized American medicine in the 1920s. They, along with I.G. Farben, Germany’s leading industrial organization, held the monopoly on the world’s chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Extensive documentation by Dr. Len Horowitz in the Journal Of Degenerative Diseases link several giant pharmaceutical corporations, the US, Canadian and British military, and powerful families in the US and Britain with 70 years of research and clandestine testing of increasingly sophisticated and “stealthy” bioweapons capable of reducing populations.

While there is as yet no link between these ongoing, documented programs of population reduction and the chemtrails phenomenon, it is striking that spreading outbreaks of flu-like respiratory infections have been traced by Horowitz and others to deliberate and/or accidental releases into North American bloodstreams through vaccines as well as public exposures to industry and military produced carcinogens, like EDB

“These ‘weaponized’ agents target the elderly and other immune-compromised victims whose deaths go largely unremarked,” Horowitz explains.

“The U.S. government has a long history of denying inexcusable covert operations. These are the people who told you about the joys of nuclear radiation, that Agent Orange could defoliate a tropical jungle overnight but was harmless to humans. This is the same government that secretly experimented on its citizens with everything from syphilis to LSD,” concludes Horowitz.

The Pentagon would now have the public believe that the mass sightings of chemtrails over Las Vegas and much of North America are collective hallucinations, even though the boys at the government’s Lawrence Livermore experimental lab admit that they’ve discussed massive aerial spraying and run computer simulations on the effects of weather modification for military and peacetime purposes.

Commenting under condition of anonymity a Tribune confidential source speculates: “Whatever this material is, it cannot be good for us. Moreover, it represents another example of Americans taking their liberty and well being for granted. It may be that weather agencies, NASA and National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration know enough to keep their mouths shut.”

  1. Daytime passenger jet contrails that are persistent, expanding and sometime block the sun with a haze have been frequent north of Boston. The notable exception was a pristine blue sky day on 6-3-14 with barely visible confined, short and dissipating contrails.
    Flightaware indicates these jets are commercial transatlantic “bus” runs.
    A positive ID on the substances involved that may included jet fuel additives would be helpful.

    1. This comment raises an excellent question. One never knows if people on our side are really and truly on our side. And evidence sometimes takes time to assert its relevance. Here, the two things combine, and point to an answer. It always strikes me as “off” when prominent people who claim to be exposing the chemtrails phenomenon claim that it is additives in jet fuel, not unmarked tankers filled with vats of poison and spray nozzles the pilot can turn off and on. It’s just regular air traffic, they say.

      These people never bother to explain why the same plane often turns around, and paints the sky again, going the other way, or how crosshatch patterns (an excellent one pictured with this article) are possible–much less how north/south chemtrails can happen over Hawaii.

      But if it’s in the fuel, clear skies would be impossible! How can a perfectly blue sky randomly happen, if normal air traffic is causing the haze canopy, because it’s caused by the same fuel every plane burns every single day, on the same paths through the sky at the same altitude every time?

      Where I live, some days start perfectly clear in the early morning, and I watch the sky painting start, and progress throughout the morning. Sometimes, it seems like I can detect the painters’ schedule: every Wednesday, like clockwork, relentlessly flying back and forth to completely whiten the sky. Sometimes, though, I watch them spraying, but only half-heartedly. I have often asked myself why sometimes they want to block out the sun, and sometimes just muck up the blue. I have no idea, but if it was commercial air traffic doing it, this variability would be impossible.

        3. So to confirm Recynd 77, you can get a visual on a plane that is creating a “trail” and not see the flight on flightaware? What is your nearest airport and with binoculars what is your ID of the plane(s).

        4. fv: Yes, that’s what I’m saying. I’m in Orange County, CA; I live 30 minutes (drive time) from LAX, and 15 minutes from John Wayne Airport, just behind Los Alamitos Joint Air/Naval Base.

          As far as ID-ing planes, I’m terrible. However, the “spray planes” (for lack of a better term) are generally smaller than most commercial jets, and flying higher. I haven’t been able to see any identifying marks, but I can tell the planes are white.

          I suspect, too, that much of the spraying that goes on here takes place over the ocean and floats in. Whether it’s sprayed by planes or “chembombed” from ships, I couldn’t say, but I suspect both happens. I’ve lived in Southern CA my whole life and know what regular “marine layer” looks and feels like. This is different. Our clouds have taken on a different quality, too: a lot of very low, very “stringy” clouds, kind of like cotton candy-wispy, with an iridescent quality. Both halos around the sun and “sun dogs” are no longer rare occurrences.

          The weird things is, no matter how hazed out the sun gets during the day, or how much they spray at night (you can easily see it with all the “light pollution” here), the moon is always visible and bright. I don’t know how that works, since the sun is often dimmed during the day.

        5. Interesting, Los Alamitos airport code is KSLI. They appear to block all info to flightaware. I watch airbases local to Boston and they are not blocked….well not at least completely. What do your local oceanic and atmospheric university talent have to say about this “phenomena”?
          I have a friend who just moved from Orange County and he confirms your observations.

      2. They may make the decisions on whether or not to spray a lot based on the conditions, if they are conducive to making storms, they pile it on. Have some clear days in SC and it is amazing how quiet it is when they are not dumping.

        When ever I have looked at Flighttrader, the suspected planes are labeled with no call sign, do not even think we see military craft. Just as they decide whether or not to dump, they can decide not to put the additives in jet fuel.

        Based on a blog I’m on, would say CA is constantly being sprayed, to stop rain.

      3. This subject has been near and dear to my heart since the fateful day I finally looked up and saw what was going on over my head. Patrick, I always love your comments, but this one takes the cake (i.e., why the trails can’t be blamed upon regular commercial air traffic). It’s been clear to me that commercial airlines are probably not the main culprit of the spraying, but I lacked real logical proof of it. Thank you for providing it for me.

        Harold Saive, a long-time chemtrails/geoengineering researcher, journalist, and activist, points out that, for a “persistent contrail” to form (not to mention persist), the relative humidity of the surrounding air would have to be right at 100%. (I think I’ve got that right.) How can crystal-clear air on a bright, sunny day, regardless of altitude, have 100% relative humidity?

        A little off-topic (but I don’t know where else to say this), I am half-way through your short book, “The Stairway to Heaven”, a discussion about the Beatitudes of Christ.       4. As Patrick suggests, the unusual and sometimes dangerous recurrent and erratic flight patterns some of these aircraft routinely carry out would probably never be allowed by common air traffic controllers. Yet there are also reports of certain additives to commercial jet fuel.

      7. I have seen planes sharing the same airspace, and most likely at similar altitudes, one with a vapor trail, one with none. I have also noticed in the last 5 years or so, here in Western Colorado the air quality . changing. We have had a lot of fires over the years, and of course the air gets dirty, but the normally clear desert air is always hazy these days. Most likely fallout from the campaign to burn up California. They say air pollution, but I saw a chart on Brother John F’s latest video showing gasoline consumption down for the whole country going back several years.

  3. Contrails vs Chemtrails : Contrails are continue behind the plane and dissipate as it travels. Alleged chemtrails seem to begin at the edge of populated areas and end at the edge of that same area and linger also, often multiple grids of trails at the same time are often noticed . Tell me why if it is contrails are their patterns being deliberately made over populated areas while out beyond these areas you see long continuous lines ?

    1. Agree. If you watch the plane (spraying) you will see it go back and forth. These are not exhaust from passenger planes! If enough people had any common sense to “see” what is actually being done, it might help.

    2. I think the idea that they do these over populated areas is a bit off. Yes, they do, but those trails will fall hundreds, if not thousands of miles further down the jet stream. I have seen plenty of chemtrails in the middle of nowhere. I live in Oregon and this is ground zero for US chemtrails. The majority of the chem clouds were already built out in the pacific, by the time they get here the planes are just working on building particular cloud formations. Often I have seen them fly along with a normal contrail and then fart out a one inch looking spurt at thr leading edge or near a gap in a cloud.
      Patrick is correct that it is NOT in the fuel. The same planes stop and start spraying on a whim. If you go to an airport you will never see a commercial plane leaving a trail of puss behind it. I could see commercial airlines being in on it and having computer controlled sprayers built in but that would require having complete control over maintenance operations and I suspect that would be much more elaborate than just using military tankers. How much spray could a commercial jet hold anyway?
      Earlier this morning I was driving and watched a chemtrailer diong a u-turn over Corvallis. He turned off his spray as he was entering the turn and turned it back on once he was heading north again. Perhaps they were trying to be more careful. About seven years ago a chemtrailer was spraying very low over the city and did a huge double doughnut and headed back the way it came. Please excuse the language but it looked like a huge cock and balls and it made the front page of the paper(just the balls). The paper claimed it was a project airplane from Boeing on a test flight.       1. I don’t pretend to have enough knowledge on this subject to form strong opinions. I have observations, however. I work at a place that has restricted airspace directly over it. There are NEVER commercial planes flying right over the site. At times there are military aircraft, presumably headed for a nearby AFB.

        On several occasions I have observed aircraft trailing chemtrails at extremely high altitudes and speeds directly over the area. Additionally, there appear trails running on an opposite axis to form checkerboard patterns. There are no known common destinations in one of the directions.

        So, this can be clearly seen. On the other hand, the expense would be enormous. On a logical basis, it is hard to believe, but there it is.

        I remember what it was like before the spraying. I can see the difference now. There are days here when they aren’t spraying where the skies are clear and bright blue. They spray so much, however, that blue skies are notable.

        This is a pretty neat trick. It is done right out in the open and everyone sees it. Basically, they are saying, “if you comment on it you’re nuts”.

        So, to break it down, the spraying is undeniable. Why they are spraying has a few possible explanations and maybe others we don’t know of yet. It is obvious that they would not go to this expense for no reason.

        I have made the effort to watch the differences between contrails and chemtrails and they are easy to see. It is especially telling when some planes fly right through the same flight path and altitude with no contrails and are followed by planes spraying continuous chemtrails. If the conditions exist for contrails all similar planes should be affected.

        As to the cockpit videos, does anyone find it strange that pilots would have to observe this on a daily basis? Why would they not ask questions about it?

        For me there are too many holes in my understanding to form a complete picture. I’m willing to believe that they’re doing it, I confess to being somewhat amazed that they are getting away with it without explanation. Even with a “weather modification” excuse, the health hazards would need some explanation. Also, the targeting of certain areas more than others would suggest a motive.

        The HAARP and ULF transmission theories are pretty good. It would not be the first time that military experiments were carried out in public without permission.

        1. I have seen photos of the HAARP Array. Could someone explain to me how a ground based array can target airspace thousand of miles away? On a spherical planet? Without being bounced of something else?

    1. It seems to me Skywriter that expelled exhaust soot, water vapor, reflective nanomaterial and materials that favor condensation from aircraft at i.e. 35,000 feet (upper troposphere/ lower stratosphere) also prevent incoming solar radiation.
      The patents that truthchase published include discussion of trapping and reflecting solar radiation via oceanic and atmospheric processes.
      Curious what your local University Professor has to say regarding any of your first hand documented observations. I will be continuing to share the feedback I get.

    1. I heard a few years back that the increases in CO2 were creating a plant life boom, more plants usually means more rain. I remember when the mountains around here would create their own rain. It was a daily cycle. Sunny all morning and afternoon and then a good rain in the late afternoon. Not so anymore. The fire bans will start in a few weeks like always, and run until winter.   20. Anyone who has looked to the sky with interest in the last 15 years or so has no doubt seen these things. I remember in 1999 there was a period in extreme northern Georgia when the the sky, from horizon to horizon, looked like one gigantic lattice; it was astounding. Another time, on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the jets that were releasing this stuff were so low over the highest elevation roads you could literally see the rivets in the metal on the planes. I could not believe my eyes but that was what got me interested in chemtrails.

    We have been told that these are normal contrails of commercial and passenger jets. OK, for argument’s sake, let’s say they are contrails. It is IMPOSSIBLE to provide any evidence whatsoever that these planes are following any type of known navigation route. What airline or freight transport flies repeatedly across the same section of sky in criss cross patterns?

    The truth is simple. We are at war with the federal government but most folks don’t know it, at least yet. But they will. These devils are stepping up their game. Whose side are you on? Resist. Refuse. Repel.

    2. Don’t be surprised if commercial jets running daily runs are proven to be part of this mission Percy. They may not be performing the same mission everyday and the pilots may have no clue what is taking place off their tail.
      It would be interesting to see your photos of “rivet” sightings.

One prominent fellow (I forget his name) who believes that chemtrails are caused by aluminum added to jet fuel insists that that’s all that is necessary to explain the phenomenon; everyone uses the same fuel, all the time. He was a career commercial pilot, now retired. He insists that there is no way there could be spray nozzles on the planes, because pilots know these craft intimately; there could be no control dials or switches in the cockpit for such functions, either, for the same reason: they know every inch of the space. Finally, his argument is that a small percentage would speak up if commercial airliners were spraying poison. Thus, he concludes, it has to be unknown to them, because all it is is a product of exhaust.

        I completely reject this analysis, fv, for the reason I cite above. To restate it in a phrase: blues sky days would be impossible. Here’s why:

        1) We witness mornings that begin with pristine, sharply blue skies, and we watch airplanes paint those skies systematically, back and forth, until it is all a hazy, dirty, white. But planes were flying before the painting began, using the same fuel, leaving no such trails.

        2) We witness days where the sharp blue sky only acquires a few lines, and much blue remains throughout the day.

        3) We still have days with no chemtrail activity at all.

        4) Crosshatch, tick tac toe designs are only observed sometimes, not every day there are chemtrails.

        5) There are no north/south air routes over Hawaii, yet planes paint that sky north/south routinely.

        If commercial airliners were doing this dirty work, with or without the pilots’ knowledge, every day would be a worst-case chemtrail day, from before dawn–because commercial air traffic is the same virtually every day. We would NEVER see blue sky. That’s not the case, though. On the very same day, pristine skies are systematically, intentionally, transformed into complete overcast. And sometimes, one day we get chemtrails and the very next day we have perfectly blue skies–with identical weather conditions both days. This variability would be impossible if jet fuel was responsible.

        Finally, there is video of pilots trailing the tankers, with the trail turning off and back on again. These are not planes going into stalls, because all their engines stopped and then started up again a few minutes later, simultaneously. It is methodical. Plus, these are unmarked craft.

        1. If the engines could handle the additive. one must remember that not all jet fuel comes from the same place. not every jet would get the mixed product. Also, if they are spraying, the commercial airliner jet fuel hypothesis would mean random spraying, rather than a methodical approach to controlling the weather. So we first must determine if it is weather control, or sunlight abatement to slow global warming. I would say weather control. West coast spraying over the Pacific to destroy California agriculture, east coast spraying to … what? control, stop, or direct Hurricane paths? Talk about a force multiplier.

      2. One supposedly authoritative “supporter” of the chemtrails-are-real position (I can’t remember his name, but I followed a commenter’s link recently, so someone around here can provide it) is a career commercial pilot, now retired. His position is that it is aluminum added to jet fuel. He argues that since pilots are intimately familiar with the planes they fly, they know there are no spray nozzles outside the craft, and no control switches or dials in the cockpit. He also says, even if it were true, some would blow the whistle.

        He says that the easiest way to geoenginner is just have all the planes doing it, all the time, without anyone knowing about it because it is just jet exhaust.

        As I said in a previous comment, this is impossible, because if that were true, there would never, ever, be blue skies. I will summarize my points:

        Air traffic is essentially the same every day, from before dawn all through the night. Yet,

        1) some days are crystal clear, and sapphire blue all day long, and the stars are sharp as diamonds all night long;

        2) even though heavy commercial air traffic starts before dawn, some morning skies are brilliantly blue, and we observe planes start systematically painting the sky until it is like a dirty white dome;

        3) some days, the sky painting only involves a few lines, and large patches of blue remain throughout the day;

        4) some days a crosshatch, tic tac toe pattern is laid down–but only occasionally;

        5) there are no north/south flight paths over Hawaii, but they see planes laying down such lines there all the time;

        6) some weeks when the daily weather is identical, we experience a heavy chemtrail day followed by a perfectly blue sky day.

        If chemtrails are just poisonous exhaust from a new fuel formula, none of this variability would be possible. Every day would be a worst case chemtrail day.

        Finally, we have video footage of pilots trailing unmarked tankers, where the trails abruptly cease, and then restart a few minutes later.

        1. If the chemtrail is composed of metal, aluminum in particular, I can’t see a jet engine holding up very long. Not to mention aluminum burns easy. It would seem even in a very small particulate state, it would be consumed during combustion. Of course their is always something left after burning. This also leads to the problem of keeping additives properly suspended in the fuel. I am no chemist and have no idea how aluminum would be aerosolized any way. Most antiperspirant is loaded with aluminum salts though, and it came in a spray can. Death by Rightguard!

        2. Rich, the public viewable patent art teaches solubilization and suspension of metallic elements for use in liguid fuels for jet engines and internal combustion engines. These additives are described to be deliverable into a fuel tank via rapidly dissolving solids.
          Who knows what the covert/classified US Patent system teaches in this field! My conclusion is that it is technically feasible to deliver metals from fuel via the exhaust or maybe dumping it. With 90,000+ commercial flights/day the infrastructure is obviously at hand.
          I don’t know if commercial jets use this modality for purposeful atmospheric modification or if contrails are a red herring.
          Scientific proof is in chemical analysis of the jet fuel….notably the batch that has been doctored.

        3. I don’t buy your logic PCA. Commercial flights could be just one vector and episodic.
          Can you identify what is in your automobile fuel at each fill up?

      3. I don’t know Patrick. I hear what you’re saying, but, there are some practical matters here. It’s the same thing I asked about earlier. Pilots are good observers, they have to be. They are constantly scanning cloud formations.

        Pilots KNOW what they are carrying. I get the idea of mixing aluminum with JP8, if I go out on a limb I could imagine a way to do that. We know that modern aircraft can be “hacked”. If they had a means of controlling electric valves remotely I suppose you could feed that in the aft stream of the engines. I don’t know what such an “additive” would do to the properties of the fuel.

        On the other hand, they DID modify jet fuel from JP4 to JP8. But, that would mean we’d be seeing chemtrails all the time, not sporadically. In addition, as you say, I have seen those criss-cross patterns in which there is no route for commercial aircraft.

        All this is why I’m cautious about this one. Something is going on but I don’t know the how or the why of it. I’ve read what others say. I just can’t get my mind around actually doing that from a practical point of view. Many, many people would have to have knowledge of this. Everyone from the suppliers of the chemicals to the companies flying the planes. It also has to be loaded and maintained.

        Don’t misunderstand me, I can SEE it with my own eyes, the rest is still a mystery for me. Actually, if it were possible to mix the stuff with fuel that would be a lot more economical and smoother operation.

        One last point, if I were a commercial pilot and I had military aircraft entering my flight path unannounced I’d be more than irritated. If they observe this, and they certainly would, there would have to be a “cover story” to explain the activity. You can actually see this on satellite images.

        How do they deal with that? “There is a sector of cumulous clouds over Toledo followed by a checkerboard of – we don’t know, must be chaff”? Somehow this thing seems to need more of an explanation than most are providing.

      4. Well, the first time I wrote this reply it didn’t post, so I wrote another one (time number two, I thought to save it). It, too, did not post, so I contacted James. Both versions now appear. I like the second one better, having thought it through the second time.

        I defend my logic even more strenuously because of that. Having argued the same case twice (well, three times, actually, if we go all the way beck to the top), each time more effectively than the one before, I doubt anyone could present the case better. Boasting, I know. But fv will have to address each numbered item in the second version, if I am going to back away.

        You, too, lophatt. If the blue sky variability I describe is possible, given the commercial airline/fuel hypothesis, I’ll give it to you. I gave you the mini-nukes/Judy Wood thing, remember– so I’m an honest player, as all can testify (I just wish your side had written a book that could sit on my shelf next to hers). I agree that you won that argument.

        So, I suppose this stands as a challenge. How can each of the items I list be possible if it is commercial jet fuel that cause chemtrails? Think of my comment here like Judy Wood’s book.

      5. With all respect Patrick you are sounding more troll like as the days go by, you disregard other’s comments, including those of our gracious host. It is a possibility some days commercial airlines may leave chemtrails and other days not. What better, cheaper way would there be to saturate the earth, than to use the thousands of planes already in the air?

        For sure the grand assault, with the criss cross patterns are not commercial flights, but a planned attack. As Ms. Freeland has attested to in to next article, and I have witnessed, they have already developed technologies to hide the dispersals, they exist none the less.

      6. Patrick, I’m not “advocating” either way. I took what you mentioned and sort of “mulled it over”. I said that I honestly don’t know.

        Friend, I respect your opinions and thought processes. I was just sort of commenting. I have no idea.

        You raised a possibility. As Kathy points out, why not use planes that are already in the air? It wouldn’t account for the patterns but you’d only have to fly half as many flights to achieve coverage.

        As to fuel, that’s problematic. There are too many missing pieces of information to know if that could be done. Certainly, if the idea were to just add it to all fuel you would have chemtrails all the time. Of course, if you had two or more different types of fuel and the ability to control the flow from one tank to another, its plausible.

        Another approach might be to have a tank with the mixture and a valve arrangement that would allow it to be injected into the afterburner (or that location). The pilot wouldn’t have to be involved using telemetry.

        All this is pure speculation, I’m not advocating any or all of these. There are pictures out there of planes equipped with spray equipment. There are a whole set of problems associated with that as well. Secrecy and expense being at the top of my list.

        The material itself is relatively cheap. Airtime is not. I have seen at least one video where a guy interviewed people at a commercial flying company and they readily admitted they were spraying aluminum under government contract. They said that they were cloud seeding.

        But, as we know, what goes up………! I am ending this where I started my previous post. I simply don’t know. There is a certain economy in the fuel prospect. Aluminum in some formulations is reactive and corrosive. In fact, aluminum phosphide is used as a fumigant and creates a poisonous gas.

        Simple observation would indicate that they were spraying something. The hows and whys are more speculative. I’d like some answers myself.

      7. Kathy, that’s an intriguing idea. “Invisible” chemtrails. After all wouldn’t that solve some problems for them? It would still be up there but wouldn’t be seen. With GPS they don’t have to see where they’ve been to fly a grid.

    1. Good video by Paulstal – interesting it ends with the mention of CO2 is the food for plants, something some of us learned in basic grade school science class. They probably do not teach that anymore, how Orwellian has this all become?

      1. Glad you enjoyed that. I’m old enough to remember being taught those basic scientific facts in school — that plants absorb CO2 and give off oxygen, hence the Amazon being called the lungs of the world. I wonder wtf they do teach now, other than rote memorization of factoids soon to be forgotten and never really incorporated into free, independent, creative thinking.

    2. I do like the Paulstal Service’s work and his video series is well done. I don’t agree with his conclusion that the primary reason for the spraying is to speed up the warming and other weather changes. One major reason is it completely ignores the biological materials found descending to earth in the wake of the trails. This has become so ubiquitous that all 3 domains of life (plant, animal, human) have at least the first form of the cross domain bacteria infecting their blood or cells. So, there’s more work to be done.

      1. I don’t want to speak for Paulstal, but I think what he wanted to do was a “Chemtrails 101”-type piece, something that would appeal to the masses. I think he wanted to stay away from any sort of fear-mongering (and there is a LOT relating to chemtrails that is very scary), and instead focus on what the MSM has acknowledged. For sure, “Skyscratch” isn’t comprehensive, but it IS something that I would feel comfortable showing a still-asleep friend or neighbor. The info isn’t too “fringe-y” or “out there”. I think that was the point.

        At the recommendation of a poster here, I listened to the Red Ice interview with Vincent Freeman (http://www.redicecreations.com/radio/2014/04/RIR-140404.php). It is EXCELLENT, though it is quite scary…I won’t be sharing that one on Facebook (I think my fellow church members think I’m crazy enough as it is)!

        Be able to communicate around curvature of earth without enemy intercept; absorb emps from solar storms that would compromise our defense by frying the millions of microprocessors; be able to create 3-d and holographic images of the enemies battlefield; to disguise military aircraft movement; to manipulate weather…I have an old link or to saved somewhere on these…

      3. @Recynd77 – As a volunteer at Carnicom Institute, I work with Vincent and so I’m very familiar with the scarier stuff he shared on Red Ice. I’ve never really thought about withholding the information that might be too much for the uninitiated to tackle at once. You may be right about that. Something to think about, that’s for sure.

  22. Whether or not commercial flights are dumping chemicals while burning jet fuel, is a red herring. They are modifying the weather and calling all of asking why conspiracy theorists.

    Although I did see a video of a retired pilot who discussed this very thing, apologies cannot locate it at the moment. There is a culture among pilots who value their careers, not to discuss it. Only a few do and secretly. They are not directly involved in the fueling process and he noted there is less turbulence when following a chemical trail, much like following a boat in the water.
