Is Ebola a fraud? Is it being used by certain forces for broader political purposes? Fresno State University Criminology Professor Jason Kissner joins James Tracy on Real Politik for a dynamic discussion addressing the important series of articles the former has written for Global Research dissecting the Ebola phenomenon and its accompanying media frenzy.
In 2008 media studies scholar Jack Bratich introduced the concept of conspiracy panics to interpret powerful government and media reactions to the “collective intelligence” activities enacted by laypersons and evident within broader forms of popular culture.

This open letter was originally published by The Liberian Observer on September 9, 2014. Dr. Broderick has since been targeted by mainstream US media outlets such as the Washington Post and the tabloidesque Daily Caller, which accuse him of spreading “conspiracy theories” concerning the Ebola outbreak in Western Africa. Perhaps such outlets should stop acting as lapdogs for the powerful and further interrogate Dr. Broderick’s claims. At the end of the day, it is not unreasonable to seriously examine whether the world’s foremost institution of professional killers–the US Department of Defense–may have a hand in the Ebola outbreak, particularly in light of the fact that 1) US DoD has long experimented with Ebola and similarly dangerous pathogens, and 2) Western African nations have never before experienced such a plague.-JFT
“Right now, what’s on the line in this country is whether or not we’re going to have the legal right in the future to make choices about federally recommended vaccines.”-Barbara Loe Fisher
On this edition of Real Politik James speaks with Barbara Loe Fisher, president and co-founder of the National Vaccine Information Center, a non-profit charity established in 1982. For the past three decades, she has led a national, grassroots movement and public information campaign to institute vaccine safety reforms and informed consent protections in the public health system.
In a recent editorial, “Smart-Meter Phobia Sad, But Don’t Cut Power,” the Palm Beach Post hyped safety claims of Florida Power and Light / Next Era Energy accompanying the utility’s statewide “smart meter” deployment while condemning the roughly 6,000 Florida households that have declined such technology.
On July 9, 2014, 52 international scientists submitted a declaration to Health Canada, urgently calling on government to minimize the public’s exposure to the radiation emitted by wireless devices including cell and cordless phones, Wi-Fi, smart meters and baby monitors.
Currently, RF exposure guidelines in four countries. China, Russia, Italy, and Switzerland, based on biological effects, are 100 times more stringent than Canadian and U.S. guidelines.
Robert David Steele joins James to address an array of issues, including Washington’s wasteful relationship in a flawed intelligence process, the CIA and the media, healthcare, education, the “wars” on drugs and terror, and the probable “drills” that transpired in Newtown and Boston.
This week James is joined by Josh Hart, founder and director of the California-based Stop Smart Meters, one of the foremost organizations raising public awareness on the rollout of wireless technology and the “smart grid.” They discuss the ongoing plan to install dangerous microwave-emitting devices on homes and businesses throughout North America and the world–and how the citizenry can resist.
James speaks to Dr. Betty Martini on the dangers of aspertame and other artificial sweeteners found in an increasingly wide array of processed foods. Martini is one of the foremost experts on such substances. She explains specifically how these ingredients found their way in to the food supply, the dangers they pose to human health, and what we can do to help protect ourselves and our loved ones.
James is joined by independent journalist and author Jon Rappoport, one of the most thoughtful and prolific investigative reporters of our time. Jon has written articles on politics, medicine, and health for CBS Healthwatch, LA Weekly, Spin Magazine, Stern, and other newspapers and magazines in the US and Europe. He ran as a candidate for a US Congressional seat in the 29th District of California, and has also delivered lectures and seminars on global politics, health, logic, and creative power to audiences throughout the world.
