Anticipating Brexit Tumult, Online Brokerage Boosts Margin Requirements

UK referendum may create “extreme volatility and/or unusually large moves in market prices”

In one indication of how uncertain market participants are toward the June 23 vote on whether Britain will leave the European Union, a major US-based retail securities broker is increasing margins for customers trading certain currency and futures contract-products, a MHB reader reports.

oh-shitIn an email to customers, titled, “Notice of UK Referendum (‘Brexit’)”, sent shortly after the June 22 market close, the Plantation Florida-based TradeStation informed clients it will “be increasing your margin requirements effective the morning of June 23 through the close of business on June 24.”

Those who operate “on margin” borrow money from a broker to supplement securities transactions and are required to meet certain minimal funding thresholds on such accounts.

TradeStation is the choice of many at-home traders because of its sophisticated platform and direct market access.

“You should review your account and take whatever measures you believe to be necessary to address the possibility of an extreme or unusual market disruption,” the brokerage warns. “Please be aware that TradeStation will exercise its right to liquidate any customer positions at any time should your account fall below existing or revised margin requirements.”

  1. Good call! Thanks for the update. Mainstream news is so revolting that I appreciate these updates.

Money, markets, etc. can be pretty dry stuff. I like that this article is tagged as geopolitics. That’s certainly accurate in that a Brexit would be an alignment shift in dimensions other than solely the monetary.

Also good to keep such pending (perhaps inevitable) events in mind as we await the next movement of the “strategy of tension” which seems to have most recently inched along with the rather underwhelming Orlando event.

My completely biased opinion based on extremely small sample sizes is that the American public are no longer buying what the conspirators are dishing out. Fox News (ugh) was not going pedal-to-the-metal with Orlando coverage last time I checked. That to me is a sign that the narrative lost traction.

The congressional sit-in for gun control is, therefore, more indicative of desperation on the part of the masters (authors of this terror campaign) who have gotten their legislative dupes to do a faux-Berkeley in service of the global disarmament agenda.

It’s weak, watery, etc. For better or worse, Trump is going to obliterate these marginally-literate poseurs who still refuse to Google “false flag”.

    1. Great analysis, Paul. I pointed this out in the “Zapruder” thread, this “strategy of tension” GLADIO hyperrealistic filming stuff…just recently a GERMANY theatre shooting where they showed…NOTHING! Just people is anding around, walking around, cars parked against eachother, you know the usual telltale false flag stuff.

    2. Connecticut’s 2 Democratic senators refuse to open up on Sandy Hook as a total hoax. These wimps and turncoats are clearly part of the lesser nobles who expect to get fat jobs as kapos in FEMA camps eventually.

  2. Oliver Stone blasts both Trump and Hillary for saying nothing about the surveillance state but he stops short at criticizing expensive tax payer funded false flags. Stone has become criticism-light whereas JFK was more to the point.

Also, today in the news is Omar Mateen’s funeral, but when I looked for a fake death certificate, all I found was his sharpshooter certificate, probably also fake.

    1. I watched with anticipation some of Oliver Stone’s latest political exposes’ but when someone is afraid to mentions Jews/Zionist in today’s political intrigue its definitely Bud Lite time

      1. Stone is half-Chosen, perhaps that’s why he doesn’t mention the Zios in deference to his roots.

  3. If you do not have physical possession of your assets, you own a piece of paper with fancy writing on it.

    John Luv, ex accountant!

  4. It’s so easy to be fooled. The American Revolution was supposedly won by the Americans, and The United States of America was supposedly made a separate nation, no longer owned by Britain (or rather King George). However, the new American government paid “reparations” to the supposed loser of the war, Britain. American tax money is still paid to the British Crown Corporation. So what really happened? Just another government hoax, that’s what happened.

  5. Go BREXIT !!!

I can’t imagine the NWO letting the UK leave. The Polls are tied which means the Remain will probably win due to fraud.

If Leave succeeds it will be a defeat to globalism.

  6. FOX reported that if BREXIT goes through, it will be implemented over the course of 2 years, i.e. would seem no reason to panic.

On another front: Namby pamby NYT delicately covers a story, which involves students fostering censorship and a prof being ousted for saying the “n” word, er…no, not for that! for allegedly something else!:

  7. Nigel Farage is already Conceding? What?
They, the BBC, have Banned All Exit Polls.
    Yet claim Remain at 55%???

So why would he give up No One will know until tomorrow who won.

Nigel Farage has told Sky News it “looks like Remain will edge it” as votes are counted in the EU referendum.

    Bye Bye Britian.

The EU will Punish you badly for this and make an example of you.

Here come the Rape-fugees…..Kneel to your Masters.

    1. @ ric
The water main busted and flooded two polling places and several machines beforehand were discovered to be only counting stay votes. they said it is too late to fix it now. They were programmed by Merkel’s “German ” boys also.

Farage coming close is rigged just like the Scottish vote. It is to give the illusion they have freedom. You don’t want the gojim to believe they absolutely have no hope of escaping the empire.

By the way on the gladio operation in Germany, They are already disarmed. This may be going after kitchin knives. The shooter won’t be muslim, he will be a guy who crossed the border in austria to obtain a gun. He will be radical who wants mass migration and the genocide of Germany stopped! I am giving two to one odds!

      1. At least they didn’t “Blow” something up today in the UK.

But, the vote was already rigged so that operation was canceled and everyone was laughing at the Gun man in Germany so they stopped that FF in progresses..haha

  8. Comments from Russia Today

50 dead after gunman attacks theatre.
Er ok maybe 20 dead and 50 injured, but the guy had an assault rifle
Er, ok, 50 injured, and the shooter is dead.
Er, the guy had a cap gun and 3 people are coughing.

Hey Tomahawk… exactly… from “50 casualities” to “no casualties” in 30 min… Was there even a shooter?… Dunno, I live here and there were only reports of “something happening”… that then immediately went flat. Guess the Germans can’t really hold a candel in the false-flag-olympics to the States. They try, sometimes, but they are really just bench-warmers. I’ll give them a “C” for “effort”.

There is no evidence the guy with the cap gun was Putin.

    1. I know, I commented on that same thing on other thread..haha

I hate to say but we used to have a resident “Limey” here called Steven but Pat chased him off.

Are there any “Limeys” out there? I’d like to hear from you.

Just short of a Miracle, you will awaken as a Slave to Merkel tomorrow and your Cameron will be on his Knees graveling to Hitlers Daughter.

USA is always about 5 years behind what happens in the UK. I hope this NOT an Omen Hitlers “other” daughter Killary will win here.

anyways, please tell us what it feels like knowing your a Slave to Germany now?

Didn’t you guys win the war?

      I’m Pissed

      1. The US CIA was the force behind the EU, figuring that it is easier to manipulate and command 28 nations as a whole rather than separate nations. I don’t see Merkel as being the new kingpin, she’s always been our vassal.

      1. I need to calm down.

Even though they win, the Commies say it must be by over 2 million votes or the EU gets to recount the vote personally at Merkels House.

        I Swear.

The Globalists are crashing all markets right now as we speak so when they re-count the vote they will realize they were Bad People and will accecpt the re-count to stay in……..I Hope Not.

        1. Hey maybe you guys can move to the “now” and talk about about How:

          The Globalists lost today.
          The Vatican lost today.
          Multiculturalism lost today.
          Cameron lost today.
          Chairman O;King lost today.
Secret Societies lost today (there’s a whole lot more than just the ….)
          The NWO lost today
Soros and his Kin lost today

That’s just a couple of the Devils

          I know……

        2. Haha..The Devils thought of Everything. Now the UK must go thru this Crap.

          Article 50 – and a new deal

Triggering Article 50, formally notifying the intension to withdraw, starts a two-year clock running. After that, the Treaties that govern membership no longer apply to Britain. The terms of exit will be negotiated between Britain’s 27 counterparts, and each will have a veto over the conditions.

It will also be subject to ratification in national parliaments, meaning, for example, that Belgian MPs could stymie the entire process.

Two vast negotiating teams will be created, far larger than those seen in the British renegotiation. The EU side is likely to be headed by one of the current Commissioners. Bla Bla Bla.

          Screw ’em, You left…

        3. Thats Right.

It’s 11pm here in CA and I’m watching Live British Television (Telly) and History is being made as we speak.

        4. Ric-ster, you have hit the nail right on the head. The esteemed crown and City of London have taken some hits midships and let’s hope there are no backdoor ways to evade this vote.

  9. I know nobody gives a Sh$t but if the UK really pulls out of the EU, and the EU falls a part, markets crash affecting the entire “Global” cabal…

Is this the deadly (political) wound?

    Who will save us?

      1. Thanks, I Really Care what Happens.

I spooked myself and made a prediction that if Brexit fails then Hillary Wins..I was sweating Bullets when Nigel threw in the the Towel so to say.

Hillary will NOT be the next President……

Now if some here can realize it may be time to vote in the USA………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

        1. And you’re not the only one saying this looks bad for Hillary, Ric.

Also, scoopfeed just posted that LePen is calling for France to have their own referendum. I heard the same thing about the Netherlands:

“BREAKING: Dutch parliamentary party leader Geert Weilders calls for Netherlands to hold referendum on its EU membership”

        2. Don’t forget the two Strong Women in Italy that are now Mayors in Rome and Tunis Italy. The Five Star Movement !!!!

          Much like Brexit and Here.

        3. Everybody to the EU:

Love that the Italian group has a Vaffanculo Day to mobilize for gathering signatures for a new referendum.

        4. Well, its 1:20 am here in what you humans call SOCAL PST.

Even Lizards that live in the 4 dimension infrared light(see David Icke) need Beddy bye bye…..

We Won. I never thought possible, which means we can still Win Here.

  10. UK votes to LEAVE the EU
    EU Referendum results,

I can’t believe the whole WW2 German/Jew gig thread is more important than the “Be Here Now” thread that is a game changing event happening Real Time at 10pm PST and 6am London Time.

They have been up all night in the UK…………..

    1. @Ric

It is important Ric because much of the world around us was shaped by what happened in WWII. The EU itself was brought about by WWII.

In fact that was one of the excuses for the EU dictatorship that nobody in Germany voted for. “There was not going to be any more European wars” as they said due to “security”.

Now what are they doing? Panzers are rolling on Russian borders.

In fact Britain may have allowed this vote without rigging it, because they don’t want to be involved when Russia fries the circuits of Europe and America.

But anyway a point in history that lead to all this is important, especially when what is fed to masses is one big lie.

But happy for the people of Britain, at least they have chance to survive. Here in Florida it looks like we are governed by crisis actors.

    1. I wish we could get rid of our politicians that easy!

“Oh, sorry, no confidence. You’re gone.”

  11. I’ll be the coward
I don’t really understand the full implications of this event,
and this article does not examine this in detail,
which is why I am reserving comment

  12. I refuse to participate in Facebook, but I have friends who have kind of a community on there of activists/citizen journalists. Funny thing, their feeds are remarkably free of news of the Brexit vote. They’re still all “gun control” and “elected officials sit-down in the Capitol” and “Dump Trump” and “Another black guy got beat up… what are we gonna doooo?!?”

So the self-proclaimed left does not seem to be getting the significance here of the fall of the EU, or the way it should be playing into their so-called liberal politics.

Of course, Ric has been pointing this out for weeks.

Sure signs that the result is what the elite actually wanted IMO:

) The referendum has been organized at all.

    2) Murdoch’s Sun strongly backed Brexit as it was was backing Blair’s and then Cameron’s premiership as well as all the foreign military operations/wars of the last two decades.

    3) British expats (who live and/or work mostly in continental Europe) have been unbelievably denied the right to vote in the referendum.

As to why they wanted this, let me guess, probably all to do with the City of London special status and perhaps also with a new divide and rule global policy for Europe who’s probably deemed not pro-zionism enough.

Rothschild still lives in Britain and prints the money. It will be interesting to see if countries like France, Germany etc can find a way out. German voters never even had the chance to vote on being in the EU as they are still and occupied country destined to be replace by ISIS takfiris.

  14. Here is a kick in the rear. Europe will have to guess who for energy?

Total: 129 billion cubic meters. The UK’s share is almost 30%.

The withdrawal of Britain from the EU makes the EU even more dependent on imported oil and gas. The British, on the contrary, on the eve of the energy crisis, strengthened their own position, with additional opportunity to keep social and political stability, ensuring its own economy (and social programs), mainly due to its own energy resources.

The picture of the EU without Britain, in this respect, is more than sad. It is unlikely Britain will share the profits from the sale of oil and gas to the EU with them. In contrary, it will steal the EU’s skin, and by this way it will be added to the British budget. If it is sold at all. On the background of the debt problems of the southern and eastern EU countries, this situation would become absolutely intolerable for saving the EU as a model that positions itself in the world as a promising and prosperous project.

Putin once said – “ambitions leave together with money”. The same can be said about energy. This is even more so applicable to energy. “ambitions leave together with energy.”

    And wood in Siberia.

Bad news for the dictatorship in Ukraine.

  15. Here we go…

After Brexit, London mayor Sadiq Khan tells immigrants: “You are very welcome here”

Frustrated Muslims/Londoners have now taken to social media to ask new Muslim London mayor Sadiq Khan to declare the city independent from the rest of the UK and stay in the EU.

Former Blair Advisor Pushes ‘Second Referendum’ to Sabotage Brexit Vote
Exactly as predicted, globalists try to annul the democratic choice of the British people

Tony Blair’s former chief of staff told the BBC tonight that there should be another referendum before Britain is allowed to leave the EU, an immediate sign that the political class will try to sabotage the Brexit vote.

Just Like Ireland, They just keep voting on the same sh$t until “they” get what they want..

Just as here in the US.

I feel, If a Vote Fails, it never should be brought back out on the Floor in any form for 5 years. It’s not Law.

I’m still amazed Brexit occurred and I don’t think it was a NWO plan.

The Markets lost 2 Trillion, as they say.

    Money doesn’t just evaporate.

    Who Got the 2 Trillion?????

The y stole the money and now want to be in control again.

  16. I was only about 6 yrs old when this song came out but I had 3 older sisters and they turned me on to whole Beat and what was happening.

I lived and learned the 60’s because of my Older Sisters…Thx Girls

    A Favorite from 1966:

    Walk Away Renee
    The Left Banke

And when I see the sign that points one way
The lot we used to pass by every day
    Just walk away, Renée
You won’t see me follow you back home
The empty sidewalks on my block are not the same
    You’re not to blame
    From deep inside the tears
    I’m forced to cry
    From deep inside the pain
    That I chose to hide
    Just walk away, Renée
You won’t see me follow you back home
Now as the rain burns down upon my weary eyes
    For me it cries
    Just walk away, Renée
You won’t see me follow you back home
Now as the rain burns down upon my weary eyes
For me… Full lyrics on Google Play

      1. Toni,

You have a grander palette than me. As a musician I can tend to be Narrow minded.

I thought that was Great. I would Never listen to something like that

I’m a Fool for a melodic minor melody.

  17. Gilad Atzmon clairifes re: the Brexit event (this is one of the articles featured on MHB)
“Immigration and multiculturalism (that is; the ideology designed to suppress expression of chauvinism) are integral to cultural Marxist ideology. Britain, like the rest of the West, has been subject to an invasive and brutal paradigm designed to vitiate the working class. Flooding Britain with immigration was a conscious political act pushed by the Jewish left and the Jewish lobby. This is explainable. Jews have good reason to be fearful of the working classes. Historically, it has been the working classes that turned against the Jews. Breaking society into fragmented and diverse segments is transparently a Jewish left interest. When a society is broken into a manifold of tribes and identities, the Jews become merely one tribe amongst many.”

  18. Dr. Tracy
    Re: the Brexit event
I would be interested in hearing your comments on this vote, and what it means in the larger sense,
Gilad made some interesting comments on his article but rather incomplete essay
    Thank you

  19. I think Paul Craig Roberts was right about Brexit,
    Corbett Report:
    “Well, that didn’t take long.
The graphite was hardly dry on the Brexit ballots when TVP Info, a Polish broadcaster, leaked a 9-page document drawn up by the German and French foreign ministers calling for an EU superstate complete with an EU army, integrated border controls and common taxation. The German foreign minister discussed the plans — which are being described as “an ultimatum” — with his counterparts in the Visegrad Group of countries (Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia) this week.
The document, bearing the Orwellian title of “A strong Europe in a world of uncertainties,” lays out the exact tyrannical plans that the EU’s critics have been warning about for years. After identifying key areas of uncertainty and concern affecting Europe — from spreading [false flag] terrorism to [manipulated] cultural tensions to [engineered] economic hardships — the document proposes three new areas for expanded EU cooperation:”
